Decode your darkest dreams!
Whether you're spitting out teeth, plummeting from a ten-story building, or standing in a public place completely naked, nightmares always leave you in a cold sweat, wondering what just happened and what it all means. The Nightmare Dictionary helps you unlock the mystery behind your bad dreams. This book features fascinating interpretations for more than 300 of the most common nightmare images, as well as information about the different types of dreams. With The Nightmare Dictionary, you'll discover all the eerie warnings, premonitions, and fears that are constantly brewing in your dreams.Read The Nightmare Dictionary Discover What Causes Nightmares And What Your Bad Dreams Mean Adams Media 9781440560170 Books
"The Nightmare Dictionary gives you the sense that this was a packaged book book. That is, it is professionally done--both well written and designed (though perhaps a little cheesy touch with the black arty/scary page edge on each pages)--and helpful for understanding nightmares better and using the dictionary to prime the pump of associations (though from what I know about dream interpretation, you're supposed to look for personal associations). That said, the dictionary isn't as comprehensive as one might hope for. For example, it didn't have anything on tidal waves in dreams--something that used to frequent my nightmares as a kid and still occasionally show up as an adult. While I would like to think that this must mean I'm a true original, from what I've read and from talking to others suggesting it isn't an uncommon dream (I presume suggests something about being overwhelmed.)
Note, if anyone is coming to this book due to struggling with nightmares--especially children--I highly The Nightmare Solution: Simple, Creative Methods for Working Out Your Dream Problems (With Guidance for Parents, Therapists, and Teachers Helping Children)"
